"Pinay" is slang for a woman born in the Philippines.
Through my lens, I love to capture the everyday life of Europe and through this blog I hope I could serve as your window to this fascinating continent.
Enjoy reading and please feel free to ask questions about the pictures and my stories. If you see yourself on this site, please contact me so I could send you the raw copy, or if you do not wish to be there, so I could remove your photo.

Dear Mari,
I love your site and was thrilled to find such great photos of Malmort and Soarge and the region an area where I once lived and am writing about in a newsletter. I am a cookbook author and am currently working on a newsletter that will go out to about 300 people and will include some pieces about travel, restaurants, and recipes.
Would you consider letting me use a few of your photos?
I would be very grateful.
Thanks so much.

Dear Georgeanne
Thanks for the compliments. I looked at your site and found subjects that are close to my heart: Provence, food, travel and creative writing! So you’re writing recipes! My sister-in-law who is English and lives in Bury St Edmonds, UK is also a writer and has just received a commission to write a book on Cooking and Caring.
Sure, you can use my photos. Just please mention their origin which is http://www.mariadams.com. I have thousands more of them in my photoarchives and they also comprise food, people and many towns and villages of Provence, other regions of France as well as all the countries I have been to. I hope to be able to post some of them on my site as well as get the best ones published in travel magazines.
Good luck with your work and if by chance you need help in gathering photographic materials for your future projects, I am just an email away.
Best regards
Maria Adams

Lovely postcards you have there, Ate Maria!
I love, love, love postcards!
I collect them, actually.

Hi nalini!
Everytime I am in a new country, I try to buy a postcard and mail it to myself. That way, I get to collect that country’s stamp, too!
