A Pinay in Europe

Walking is our favorite pastime. As soon as we get the chance, we put on our comfortable walking shoes, grab a plastic bottle that we would fill at the spring fountain by the river and of course, my omnipresent camera. We are lucky that our home is surrounded by beautiful sceneries and well-maintained footpaths. It is truly magnificent to see flowers sometimes just growing out of rocks, the smell of herbs, the amazing rock formations, the soothing sound of the river, abandoned shepherds’ shelters, medieval ruins, roman viaducts that are still usable today, bunkers left by the German army now thickly overgrown by ivy, the mountainous landscape and more.

I shall be starting here a topic entitled, “Walking” and hope I could take you to a virtual trip through the beautiful sceneries that are clearly mindblowing!
